Founded by Emily Adamberry Olivero M.B.E. on 30th June 2010 in order to establish a structured support on a daily basis in Gibraltar for individuals who are affected by mental illness or severe mental health problems. It is a Community Based Rehabilitation and Psychosocial model. Emily is now its Executive Director and is currently striving to achieve suitable premises to carry out its work effectively and attain accreditation status as soon as possible.

Under the Equal Opportunities Act 2006 the Gibraltar Citizens Advice Bureau is the responsible body for the promotion of equal treatment of all persons. Part of the work designated to CAB acting in this capacity is to promote, give advice to victims of discrimination and raise awareness on equality issues.

Today 14th February is V.Day. V.Day is an organized response against violence towards women. Gibraltar is one of more than 200 countries that have joined the rest of the world in solidarity to raise awareness that any form of violence towards women should end now.

Citizens Advice Bureau are joining the 1 Billion Rising event Violence against Women. . In Gibraltar this event will be held at the piazza at 11.00 am on 14/02/2013
